Outreach Initiatives

During the 2024-2025 UCSD school year, Triton Robotics organized 6 outreach events for K-14 students with over 3000 people participating at these events!

Additionally, Triton Robotics tabled 15 times at various UCSD events, such as Welcome Week and Triton Day, while also expanding its mission to support robotics teams throughout the greater San Diego area, fostering a deeper appreciation for the uniqueness of robotics and highlighting the profound influence of engineering in shaping innovation and society.

A few of the teams and events we visited were:

Viking Robotics FRC Team: Our team had the privilege of visiting their group, where we shared the projects and initiatives that drive our passion for robotics. In turn, we learned about their innovative work and unique approach, fostering a meaningful exchange of ideas.

Rolling Hills STEM Night: Our team introduced students to the engineering design process through hands-on activities and demonstrations. We aimed to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of innovators, showing young minds that engineering is not only impactful but also exciting and fun.”

Girls Scout Troop 6889: We inspired young girls to explore engineering by showcasing what it’s like to design and build robots at the collegiate level. Through demonstrations and conversations, we highlighted the creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration that make robotics such an empowering field.
